Brooklyn Funk Essentials return with their eighth studio album, Black Butterfly, released May 15, 2026 via Dorado Records. Featuring recent singles including Never Give Up, Bust The Bus Stop and Life During Wartime, the album blends the band’s signature mix of soul, funk, jazz, hip hop and Latin influences. Produced and co-written by Lati Kronlund, it features vocals from Alison Limerick, Ebba Åsman and Desmond Foster. Celebrating over three decades and more than 100 million streams, the band will tour Europe in summer 2026.
