Both Paul and Laurence are naturally extremely accomplished musicians, who have played with a host of top names.   

Paul’s professional career began as a band member with pop group Modern Romance. The band had several top ten hits in the UK and around the world. They toured extensively, made three albums and appeared on hundreds of TV shows. After a while he decided to go it alone and branch out as a session guitarist. Over the following years Paul toured with many bands including; Level 42, Cathy Dennis, Bros, East 17, Junior, Mel C, Spice Girls (1997-99) and the Spice Girls re-union tour (2007-2008).  

During this time Paul gained a wealth of experience. He played everywhere, from Wembley Stadium to Madison Square Garden. He has also played at festivals, in West End shows, corporate shows and has wide experience of all types of TV and video work. Paul’s guitar playing has not gone unnoticed by some of the world’s top producers. He has played on many albums, number one singles and top ten hit records for artists such as:  Westlife, Spice Girls, James Morrison, Busted, Cathy Dennis, East 17, Gabrielle, Take That, Boy George, S Xpress, Roachford, Mariah Carey, Gareth Gates, S Club 7, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Samantha Mumba, Emma Bunton, Ronan Keating, Eagle Eye Cherry, Gary Barlow, Javine, Rachel Stevens, Boyzone, Yoav Goren (composer) and far too many more to mention! Furthermore, his track record in producing music for TV & Film has also led to him becoming a very capable programmer/ producer. Paul is married and lives near London with his wife and three children. 

Laurence was born in London on 16 May 1966. At the early age of 15 he was studying classical music & jazz at school, until a local R&B group called Rent Party approached him. He toured all over the world with them gigging with the likes of Miles Davis, Chick Corea and Michael Breaker at festivals like the Cool Jazz Festival in New York. 

Since then Laurence has worked with such varied artists as:Robert Plant, The Cure, Midnight Oil, Go West, The Eurythmics, Boy George, Joe Cocker, Roachford, Matt Bianco, Vanessa Mae, Lenny Henry, Boyzone, Shola Ama, The Brand New Heavies, Prefab Sprout, Kenny Thomas, Adeva, Carleen Anderson, Phil Collins, Tina Turner, Robert Palmer, Billy Ocean, JTQ, Beyonce and loads more… He has also played alongside the JB’s, backing various artists (such as James Brown) all over the world, as well as producing artists from Gwen Dickie to The Tyrell Corporation. Laurence is now a member of UB40’s brass section and has been since the “Promises and Lies” tour of 1994. 

Skills:  Paul and Laurence play a varied selection of instruments, including:  Guitar, Keyboards, Trumpet, Drums, Bass, Trombone and Percussion.   

Contacts Book: They have a wide pool of musicians to choose from should the job demand, including brass and rhythm sections, orchestras, choirs etc. 

Production/Engineering: Paul and Laurence have excellent programming and engineering skills and have produced many works to broadcast standard. 

Interests: TV:  Both are keen on watching intelligent drama and documentaries as well as being sports fans. New Media: As you’d expect, Paul and Laurence spend time researching and exploring on the internet, keeping up with computer games and the latest technology. Music: No surprises in finding out they’re enthusiastic about listening to many different genres of music.
